Terms of Use

1) Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Anime Watch Times (“AWT”, “we”, “our”, “the Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised date and give reasonable notice of material changes where practicable. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms, subject to rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

You must be at least 13 years old, or the higher minimum age required where you live, to create an account. If you are under the age of majority, ask a parent or guardian to review these Terms with you.

2) The Service

AWT provides a weekly schedule of anime releases and related information. AWT also offers accounts, watched lists, rankings, tiers, votes, and optional shared snapshots. Schedule times use Eastern Time (ET). We do not host or distribute video streams. Links to streaming services are for convenience only.

3) Permitted Use

  • Use the website to browse anime information and manage your own watched list. This does not grant permission to republish or commercially redistribute third-party data or artwork.
  • No automated scraping, bulk downloading, or mirroring of the site.
  • Do not interfere with security or attempt to bypass technical protections.
  • Do not use the Service in violation of applicable law or third-party rights.

4) Accounts and shared lists

Keep your sign-in credentials private and use an email address you control. Your account list is private until you choose to publish a shared snapshot. Anyone with that link can view the published anime titles, rankings, and tiers. Publishing again replaces the previous link, and deleting your account removes your shared snapshots. Copies already saved by others cannot be recalled.

You can edit your watched list and permanently delete your account using the site controls. Guest lists are stored only in the browser; signed-in lists are saved to your account, with device drafts used to recover interrupted saves. Browser storage can be cleared and service availability is not guaranteed. General list export and backup restore controls are not currently available.

5) Intellectual Property

The AWT name, logo, site design, and original content are owned by Anime Watch Times and protected by applicable laws. Anime titles, posters, images, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification/informational purposes.

6) Third-Party Links & Services

The Service may link to third-party sites (e.g., streaming providers). We do not control or endorse those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their terms and privacy policies.

7) Accuracy & Availability

Release times and metadata may change or vary by region. While we aim for accuracy, the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind (express or implied). We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service. Where practicable, we will give notice of significant changes; urgent security or legal changes may take effect immediately.

8) Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AWT disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, timely, secure, or uninterrupted.

9) Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AWT and its owners, contributors, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

10) DMCA & Copyright

We respect intellectual property rights. To report a copyright concern, see the Contact page and include the copyrighted work, the specific AWT URLs, your contact details, a physical or electronic signature, and a statement that you believe the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law. Also include a statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the rights holder. We will review reports and may remove or restrict access to material. This contact address is not a claim that AWT has a registered DMCA designated agent.

11) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, abuse, legal requirements, or risks to the Service or other users. Where reasonable, we will explain the reason and provide a way to contact support about the decision. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive (e.g., IP, disclaimers, limitations of liability).
