How anime release times work
Finding a release time can be confusing because the original broadcast and your streaming service may release an episode at different times. AWT uses AniList's airing schedule as the starting point.
Airing time and streaming availability
The schedule records the original episode airing time. A streaming service may need more time for subtitles, regional licensing, or publishing. Check the official service linked on the anime page for its availability in your region.
Which timezone am I seeing?
AWT starts with Eastern Time (ET), which follows New York's daylight-saving changes. Use the timezone selector above the weekly schedule to switch to your device's local timezone. That preference is remembered on your device. An episode can fall on a different day after conversion.
What does the countdown mean?
The countdown measures the time until the scheduled airing timestamp. It is not a guarantee that a subtitled episode will be watchable at that exact moment. If the source changes a release time, cached information may take a few minutes to update.
Why do some cards show an episode range?
When the same anime has more than one scheduled episode on a day, AWT groups them into one card and shows the episode range. Individual releases may happen at different times; the card shows the earliest scheduled time for that group.
Missing or delayed information
A release may be postponed or missing from the source schedule. Refresh the schedule, check the official anime or streaming link, and try again later if the data service is temporarily unavailable.
